Maria Isabel Casablanca
Has practiced Immigration and Nationality law for over twenty five years, representing corporate clients and individuals. She is a board certified attorney and has a large practice representing Latin American investors. She practices all areas of immigration from business and family related visas and residency for the foreign national to asylum seekers.
She represents clients in Federal Courts in writs of mandamus and habeas corpus before the Southern District of Florida, appeals before the Court of Appeals and writs of certiorari before the U. S. Supreme Court.
She advises employers on compliance procedures. She co-authored Immigration Law for Paralegals and numerous articles for newspapers of general circulation on EB5 and other immigration related topics. She has served on various AILA liaison committees, mostly on the Department of State Committee.
